The centre is established for charitable purposes only to promote the physical, mental, social and spiritual welfare and development of people living and working within the area identified as the Pitmaston Estate and surrounding areas particularly Hall Green and Acocks Green, Birmingham.

Local Access Centre (LAC) is committed to providing information, legal advice, guidance and referral services to local communities and to facilitate obtaining and/or enhancement of skills. To empower local communities to access services, support to improve their quality of life and maintain their independence.
